# Introduction

What the Wiboor API does and how it fits into your system

The Wiboor API gives you programmatic access to the work management platform: use it to integrate Wiboor with your system and automate how you manage spaces, projects, tasks and ideas.

It is a REST API for **backend-to-backend** communication: calls leave your server with an API token and receive JSON.
